There are so many people needing help right now. As much as I would like to donate to everything, it is not within my means to do so. Lately, I've been trying to donate to the stories that really touch my heart, like this one. This man has lived in this house in Oakland for 50 years. His mother died last year, and he found out she was a victim of a predatory reverse mortgage lender. Now the bank is trying to take back his home, amidst a global pandemic. The way his community has come together to help this man warmed my heart and gives me faith in humanity. A little goes a long way. We really are all in this together.
