I've been practicing writing 3 gratitudes every morning as part of my daily quiet time. I began implementing this practice with my 8th grade SEL class this year. I gave each of my students a Mindfulness Journal which includes, as part of the daily tasks, writing one gratitude. I'm hoping they will feel the benefit of this simple act & by the time they graduate they will choose to continue this practice. More than any academic knowledge, I feel the practice of mindful gratitude can change their lives.
