Be Kind to a Member of Your Family

My step brother is one of the most amazing humans I know. He works on the National Suicide Hotline...taking calls from Vets who are in crisis. He saves lives...all the time. I do not get to see him more than once or twice a year and it’s never for long enough. I saw him for maybe 2 hrs at Christmas this year and I hated to say goodbye. After I returned home, he was on my mind a lot. I just kept thinking about him and how amazing he is. So I write to him and told him just that. I told him our family is so proud of him and that he should know how much we all love him. I told him how much I admire him for what he does and that he truly makes a difference in this world. I received a text from him saying he “got the most amazing letter from his big sister!”
