I had an hour to kill waiting to pick my husband up from a meeting. So when I passed a guy at the corner sitting with his dog, I asked if he needed anything. He didn't have teeth and couldn't eat much, but would love some chocolate milk. Such a simple request, and I had time and money to share. I brought back chocolate milk and as much soft food as I could find, along with socks, blankets, a warm shirt, and food for his dog. I don't know what happened in this guy's life, but he needed a hand, and I was grateful to be there to give him one.
