I was in line at a grocery store once, standing in front of a handicapped man who appeared to be homeless. I noticed him put down a couple of small items on the counter behind mine. He was searching through his pockets, counting change in preparation to pay for his things. Once I was done checking out, I gave the lady at the register money to cover the cost of his groceries, and some extra for her to leave with him. I looked back and smiled at the man and wished him a good day before he could realize what I had done. To this day I love giving little surprises like these to random strangers and help bring more kindness into our world :)
