One day several years ago I was having a bad day. Nothing seemed to be going right. I was feeling very low, irritable, and worthless. I was walking into a gas station and a lady opened the door for me BUT she looked me in they eye and with a very genuine smile she told me to "have a good day." That singular act completely turned my day around. My bad mood was instantly lifted. In the years that have followed, I have made it my mission to "change the world with my smile". I suffer from depression and I know first hand how random acts of kind words and gestures can mean the world to someone. So what I am doing is taking post it notes and writing words of encouragement on them and sticking them in random places....In the middle of a library book I am returning. On a car window, in a public restroom, on
a co worker's desk, on a vending machine....etc.
