My sister and her partner had to go to a wedding last weekend and asked me to catsit for them. They have these two gorgeous and adorable cats. One of them has a short coat and the other a long coat. The one with the long coat sheds like crazy, and my sister's floor is constantly covered in hairballs. Sweeping the floor may be a low priority for her and her partner. She works long hours and he works odd hours. They also JUST moved into the new apartment, and they still have to unbox and put their belongings away. My sister had also just returned from a 2-week business trip to Asia, and I knew she was still suffering from jetlag.
I swept, mopped and removed hairballs from the chairs' cushions and the sofa so they don't have to do it for a while.
