Let someone go first

When I stopped for my morning coffee a couple of days ago I noticed a mother trying to calm a 3 yr old who had been given "the wrong donut." When I was in line to order the grandmother, who was travelling with her family, stepped in line behind me. I told her "You go ahead; your crisis is more time sensitive than my coffee." She seemed relieved to be able to get the "right" donut ASAP.
