At Target getting cold medicine for my daughter and I'm behind an elderly lady picking up a prescription.

Pharmacist: $112
Lady: That much?!?!
Ph: Do you have insurance?
Lady: Yes, but not prescription. I just got out of the hospital yesterday and the dr says I need it. Can you put these groceries back for me please?

My stomach churned, I stepped in.

Me: Please let me pay for your prescription.
Lady: But you can't ...
Me: Yes, I can and I want to.

Lady starts to cry because her and her husband are both battling cancer and they would have had to choose between food and prescriptions,

Please keep her and her husband in her prayers.
