Living in Copenhagen, Denmark I still keep a close relationship with my village in Bavaria, Germany. Same as any other city or village, we were assigned refugees fleeing from war, famine, conflict or simply in pursuit of a better life. Whatever the reasons, I personally believe we should try to welcome those who seek protection with open arms. Being just a minor contribution, I am now member of a small charity that sets up "meetings" with refugees and the people from the village. The main problem is the English language profficiency, and that´s where I could contribute and help. Once, I finish studies, I plan to get involved even more and promote the connection between those in need and those who want to help, yet they don´t know how.
