I was brought up by my father who taught me what kindness meant to others. It's something I do on a daily basis.
A small example?
An elderly person at the checkout today had forgotten to bring a bag so I gave them mine. More importantly I took the time to chat realising that this could be the only social interaction they might have today.
Although they refused an offer of a lift home we both left a shopping centre feeling much happier than we did when we arrived.
No act of kindness is too small!
