Send someone a real letter

I sent a letter to an old friend who is a park ranger in Washington state. I had not talked with her in a long time and know that she is lonely there as it is very isolated. Writing an actual letter by hand makes you really pick your words more carefully. It also makes you feel those words more deeply. I will be doing this more often.
