I daily try to practice positivity and sometimes it is a bit of a struggle, but not in the way you may be thinking. It's true that people are more distrusting towards others and think there may be a hidden agenda to my acts of kindness. Being kind to others makes me feel good. I guess its my selfish thing, i dont get recognition-usually, but still I strive daily to pay attention to others favorite things or needs which I may be able to gift. I have never kept track before of the acts I have accomplished. I have to admit it feels a little strange to do that. I just want to be a positive role model to my children and friends and hope that a little bit of kindness rubs off on others along the way. It feels good to make others smile. I see positivity as a skill and like any skill that we hope to excel in we need to practice it in order to acheive the desired results. I have always heard practice makes perfect...so I'll continue to practice with bits of kindness to spread the love.
