I didn't quite send the letter. I wrote a letter to my sister. I wanted to give her something that she could refer back to. Something to uplift her spirit when she is feeling down.
In the digital era, messages and emails are often lost in the shuffle of so much clutter. Instead, for her birthday I assembled a box with things that bring comfort, along with my letter, so she always has a place to have a reminder of how wonderful she is and to remember to unwind when she feels stressed and out of sorts.
I will give her the box and the letter tomorrow for her birthday.

Update: she really liked the letter. She started reading it during the dinner party, but stopped and said she was going to read it when she isn´t wearing makeup. She was touched and that was the whole point of the letter.
