This is definitely what I would call a group hug---a community of people coming together to celebrate a meal with someone making sure no-one is left out and everyone feeling welcome and accepted...Thank you, mom, for this story. My mom, Linda, helps at the noon meal in her senior living center on Mondays. She said this week another woman was helping during the meal. Mom said, "I was greeting and seating people for the noon meal, some with walkers, etc. I had someone helping me and watched as she made certain that no one was left with empty chairs at their table...so she kindly moved older residents next to newcomers and made certain they had something in common to talk about. Kindness all over the place." I love you, mom. Thank you!
